Doctors’ Voices Matter

The Dobbs’ Supreme Court Decision was an iconic moment in the pro-life movement, and it changed the battle for life forever. That change spread across all fifty states within our great country, shaping each fight uniquely. After seven straight devastating losses, our movement had a breakthrough in 2024, and the world learned why Doctors’ Voices Matter!

Even with the movement’s victories in Florida and South Dakota, there are still goliath-sized obstacles on the road ahead. Our opposition is pumping millions upon millions into this fight, but they are vulnerable because our voice has brought hope to the movement.

AAPLOG and AAPLOG Action, as the Medical Voice of the Pro-Life Movement, are being asked to lead the way and refute misinformation in the public arena, influence and recommend policy, and support the next generation of life-affirming doctors by holding medical schools and associations accountable to true life-affirming medical science, but we need your help in this fight.

That is why on June 24th, in commemoration of the Dobbs’ Supreme Court Decision anniversary, AAPLOG and AAPLOG Action are asking you to help us double down as we Forge a New Path Forward for Medicine by raising $250,000 from 300 total gifts.

When you support AAPLOG, you are supporting efforts that reaffirm the unique value and dignity of individual human life in all stages of growth and development from fertilization onward. Your gift will help us do that by:

Battling Medical Misinformation

The pro-abortion lobby remains firm in spreading extreme lies, and as a result, much of the information regarding induced abortion and healthcare that is presented to the American public is not only one-sided, but dangerously wrong. By building upon November’s momentum, we will become a household brand that all members of society can know and trust.

Advancing Life-Affirming Care

The pro-abortion side is living in the past; we are looking to the future. Medical advancements allow us to provide better care to women and their children now than ever before – and this does not require induced abortion. Your gift allows us to continue advocating for better data collection, increasing awareness for abortion pill reversal (APR), and producing educational content.

Equipping the Next Generation

The next generation of medical professionals is the most vulnerable. The ever-increasing subjective liberal ideology has a strangle hold on our medical schools and threatens to push life-affirming students away and train the rest to be abortionists. Your gift supports our work to ensure that women always have access to life-affirming care.

Mobilizing the Sleeping Giant

We know that 76-93% of practicing OB/GYNs do not perform abortions. Your gift shows those doctors that feel alone that they are not. Our strength is in our numbers, and if we wake up this sleeping giant and mobilize together, then we can take back our profession.

Holding Medical Associations Accountable

The embedding of liberal ideology into the culture of medicine starts at the top; we must hold ACOG (The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) accountable. Not only do they increasingly advocate for unrestricted abortion at the expense of the health of our patients, but they are now also openly hostile towards those of us who will not endorse the killing of our patients, and other professional associations are following their lead. Your gift helps us push back and bring them back to their senses.

Supporting Women

AAPLOG cares about women – before, during, and after pregnancy. It is doctors that are often sitting with women when they are making difficult decisions, and if we are to encourage the celebration of life and motherhood, then we must help improve the eco-system that aids women in choosing it.

When you support AAPLOG Action, you are supporting efforts that affirm conscience rights and fight to protect our profession, our members and both our patients. Your gift will help us do that by:

Building Coalitions

In the 2024 election cycle we stood up four physician coalitions totaling over 1100 members. We did this in just three months! Your gift helps us get ahead of the next election cycle in places like Virginia and Missouri by building relationships today that create coalitions to fight the battles of tomorrow.

Endorsing Legislation

Since our founding, we have endorsed over 25 federal bills bringing the validity needed to push legislation forward. This task requires resources, relationship capital, and trust. Your gift gives us the bandwidth to dig deep and ensure that these pieces of legislation deserve the AAPLOG Action endorsement.

Training Doctors

We know that Doctors’ Voices Matter, and your gift helps us cover the costs to media and expert witness train doctors to be able to speak towards the issues nationally and more importantly, in their home states. Each training costs roughly $3,000 and to date we have trained over 200 doctors.

Protecting Conscience Rights

If we do not continue to stand for what is right and fight pro-abortion ideology, then we all could wake up to a new reality where life-affirming care is no longer the legal norm. AAPLOG Action in conjunction with AAPLOG puts every effort into protecting the conscience rights of its members so that women can know they are receiving true life-affirming care

Educate Legislators

In a world filled with misinformation, we want to be the guiding light that legislators can turn to and feel confident when they speak or recommend language for bills. While we have all the language ready, it is the relationship capital that wins the day. Trust takes time and energy, and your support gives our team the runway to develop these critical relationships.

Duplicating our Winning Strategies

Winning is what matters, and we have the formula! As the Florida Phoenix Magazine put it – “Now DeSantis and a goon squad of anti-choice doctors, dressed in immaculate white lab coats, are storming the state from Jacksonville down, rallying against amendment 4.” Doctors’ Voices Matter, and the opposition knows it.

Day of Giving is a fundraising event that will support what is at the core of AAPLOG and AAPLOG Action’s mission: the fight for life. We are asking the pro-life community to rally together by making donations and spreading the word to include others to join in.

Is my gift to AAPLOG tax deductible?

Yes, the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AAPLOG) is a §501(c)(3) organization, gifts to which are deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes.

Is my gift to AAPLOG Action tax deductible?

No. AAPLOG Action is a Section 501(c)(4) organization and therefore, contributions, donations, gifts, and dues to AAPLOG Action are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Your contribution supports our legislative advocacy and lobbying work.
