AAPLOG is looking for medical and nurse midwifery students who desire to practice evidence-based as well as life-affirming healthcare at the service of all patients (born and preborn).  The Hippocratic Academy is for medical trainees who recognize the irreplaceable value and worth of every human being from the moment of fertilization until natural death.  Students who are interested in being leaders and advocates in their fields, are dedicated to helping return the medical profession to a life-affirming ethic, and who are interested in being a part of a nationwide alumni network throughout their career, are encouraged to apply.  The Academy will encompass 3-4 years of training with 101, 201 and 301 courses as well as attendance at our national medical education conference (MBEC).   

Pre-med students who have been accepted into medical school, medical and nurse midwifery students (particularly those in their first year but any can apply) are welcome to apply. 2026 Academy application deadline is May 10th.
 
Cost of the Academy, lodging, and meals are covered for accepted students.
