The materials found here consist of video, audio with power point, and audio presentations on subjects of interest to prolife physicians. Many of these talks are taken from AAPLOG’s annual educational meetings. The talks cover mental and physical long term health complcations of abortions, adverse health effects relating to “medical” abortions, physicians’ freedom of conscience issues, and other vital topics for prolife medical professionals, as well as for interested lay persons. Abortion and Women’s Mental Health Priscilla Coleman Ph.D. (pcolema@bgsu.edu) January 29, 2001 Dr. Coleman is a developmental psychologist and Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Bowling Green State University. A major concentration of her research has been on the mental health effects of abortion and recent studies address the impact of abortion on interpersonal relationships (parenting and intimate partners). The author of over 45 peer-reviewed articles, Dr. Coleman frequently presents her research to audiences across the U.S. and in recent years she has spoken in Berlin, Poland, and Portugal. He is full Professor in Biology and Endocrinology at Baruch College (CUNY). He has also taught endocrinology at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and Beth Israel Medical Center. He is Founder and President of the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute in NY and Founder, Editor and Publisher of Abortion-Breast Cancer Quarterly Update. He has served as Director of Biochemical Research for the Orentreich Foundation and Medic al Group, as well as researcher at NYU School of Medicine. He serves as member of numerous professional societies as well as on the editorial board of the journal Steroids, and member of the American Bioethics Advisory Commission. He is an international lecturer on the topic of Induced abortion as an independent risk factor for breast cancer”, and author of the groundbreaking meta-analysis on the topic.
