Dear ProLife Colleague, To add to your store of info on the Komen/Planned ParentHood funding affair: There was an unparalleled seismic event erupting from prochoicers’ objections to Komen Foundtion’s (now revoked) policy decision to withhold grant money because of congressional investigation into the PPH’s possible unethical modus operandi in certain areas. What incited this immediate and overwhelming response? The loss of grant money which totaled about 1/20 of 1 percent of PP’s income!! Like a drop In the bucket. If they would just get a fraction of that righteous indignation over botched abortions and maternal deaths. Or operations like that of Kermit Gosnel. The response to the outrages is generally muted silence. The information we have is that PPH refers outside for mammograms, does not do mammograms. Do they pay for these referrals? Does anyone have info on that? Plz send it to us.
