Parents carrying to term following a prenatal diagnosis have complex needs. For fourteen years, BNA has offered case management support to parents experiencing a variety of diagnoses to include Trisomy 13 and 18, but also Trisomy 21, as well as complex heart defects, primary brain anomalies, etc. Parent surveys consistently indicate that BNA offers support not otherwise available.

As part of a national collaboration, BNA is now supporting organizations in the development of BNA-modeled services. BNA’s Parent Care Coordinator Training is offered online, and pro-life organizations across the country have completed
or are completing training.

More service providers, however, are needed. If you or an organization with which are familiar is interested in offering a proven service of comprehensive support to parents experiencing a prenatal diagnosis, please consider this training and service development opportunity.
