AAPLOG Launches New Podcast, titled “Caring for Both: A Curbside Consult Series”

Today, AAPLOG released the first episode of a new weekly podcast, titled “Caring for Both: A Curbside Consult Series”. The podcast will feature interview guests answering questions about what it means to provide evidence-based, life-affirming healthcare. We know that every day in your practice and on your rotations you face clinical situations that are challenging.  We’ve all called a curbside consult when we need a quick second opinion on the best course of action for our patient.  This podcast series is meant to serve as a curbside consult for you as you face ethically challenging patient care scenarios.  You will hear from experts on how they approach these situations and tips for how to think through them.  Because we know that your lives are busy, we are keeping each episode short enough for you to listen to on your work commute – so you have the support and information you need when you need it. You can listen on our website, on Spotify, or on Apple Podcasts.  New episodes will be released every Thursday.

We’re thankful to former AAPLOG Board Member Dr. Karysse Trandem, who, as our inaugural guest, offered insights on what it means to offer life-affirming care to both pregnant women and preborn children. Future episode topics include starting a career as a pro-life medical professional, caring for patients at the edge of viability, abortion pill reversal, and more. We highly encourage members to send us topic and guest suggestions (feel free to nominate yourself!) via email or via direct message on Instagram (@aaplog_), Twitter (@aaplog), or Facebook (@ProLifeOBGYNs)
