George Delgado, MD, founder of the Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) Network and AAPLOG board member has released a timely new book, Abortion Pill Reversal: A Second Chance at Choice. Sadly, chemical abortions now comprise more than 60% of all abortions. Although the book is written for the general population, Delgado says that healthcare professionals will still enjoy reading the background of how mifepristone was approved and how APR started. Also included are compelling stories by women who attempted to reverse their chemical abortions, one from the doctor who performed the first documented reversal (also an AAPLOG member), and testimonies by three APR hotline nurses.
