It’s hard to believe that MBEC 2026 has already come and gone, leaving us reenergized and determined as we continue forging a new path forward in medicine.
Over a jam‑packed weekend in Seattle, more than 325 attendees, including our Joe DeCook Scholarship recipients, heard from nearly 30 speakers across the pro-life medical movement. Featured presenters included keynote speaker Professor Robert George, David Bereit, Dr. George Delgado, Dr. Hector Chapa, Dr. Kerri Brackney, Katy Faust, Dr. Calum Miller, Monica Snyder, and the HHS Office of Civil Rights Director Paula Stannard.

Between powerful plenary sessions led by some of the brightest and most resolute champions of life-affirming medicine and thought, our exhibitors and sponsors tabled outside the sessions, offering education, resources, and opportunities for attendees to deepen their involvement.
Ultimately, the heart of MBEC is not simply about medical professionals, residents, and students hearing educational talks or visiting exhibitor tables; it’s about acting on what we’ve learned and confidently living out the Hippocratic Oath.

David Bereit, Executive Director of the Life Leadership Conference and a towering figure in the pro-life movement, shared with attendees how one pro-life doctor changed the course of his life. His journey from pharmaceutical salesman to pro-life advocate began when that doctor urged him to defend the lives of the preborn—a reminder of the profound impact a single medical professional can have.
For those of you who attended, the speaker slides are still available on the Aventri app. The speaker recordings will be available for enduring CME credit within the next 1-2 months. Stay tuned to your email for a notification when that is available.
We would like to hear your feedback to help us improve our conference. If you haven’t done so, please fill out a short survey, here.
Finally, we extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible platinum, gold, and silver sponsors. Without their support, this conference would not be possible.
