Have you seen AAPLOG’s Spring Impact Report yet? If not, be sure to check it out!
The report highlights several of our events, initiatives, and accomplishments these past few months. Here are some important events from April through June:
AAPLOG wins Heritage Innovation Prize: On May 20, the Heritage Foundation announced its decision to name AAPLOG as one of its 2024 Innovation Prize winners. We were granted $100,000 to help fund the creation of an online course about abortion pill reversal (APR) to be offered to medical professionals and hospital systems.
Dr. Christina Francis testifies before U.S. Senate: On June 4, AAPLOG CEO and board-certified OB/GYN Dr. Christina Francis testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) on the impact of abortion laws on women’s healthcare. She presented her expert testimony at a committee hearing salaciously titled “The Assault on Women’s Freedom: How Abortion Bans Have Created a Healthcare Nightmare Across America.”
AAPLOG opens its first state chapter: On April 12, AAPLOG also launched its first-ever state chapter, AAPLOG Colorado. Medical professionals gathered in front of the state capitol to hear remarks from the chapter founders and AAPLOG CEO Dr. Christina Francis.
These stories and others are covered in this report.
None of these things could have happened without you! We are incredibly grateful for our devoted members and supporters, and proud to be working with you in defense of our patients and the practice of life-affirming medicine.
