The Joseph DeCook Medical Student Scholarship is a full scholarship to pay for transportation and conference costs for medical students and residents who would like to experience the Matthew Bulfin Educational Conference.

This scholarship is funded primarily by AAPLOG members who want to “give forward” a gift toward developing the next generation of pro-life physicians by exposing them to the evidence based effects of abortion on women, unborn children and society a perspective they will not obtain in medical training at most public institutions.

Each student who becomes a Joe DeCook Scholar will be put in contact with an AAPLOG member willing to serve as his/her mentor-contact. The AAPLOG mentor-contact will be available to that student by email and offer a mature perspective on practicing as a pro-life obstetrician-gynecologist in this challenging time.
