AAPLOG Launches First-Ever State Chapter in ColoradoĀ

AAPLOG-Colorado

Above: AAPLOG CEO Dr. Christina Francis and AAPLOG Colorado leaders Dr. Tom Perille and Dr. Catherine Wheeler with Colorado Christian University students.  The 3 physicians shared with the students the importance of advocating for our patients and the harms of induced abortion for women.

On April 12,  AAPLOG also launched its first-ever state chapter, AAPLOG Colorado. Medical professionals gathered to hear remarks from the chapter founders and AAPLOG CEO Dr. Christina Francis, who encouraged medical professionals from across the state to join this coalition in order to support one another as they stand up for their patients against the injustice of abortion.

This inaugural chapter will act as the voice of Coloradoā€™s life-affirming medical professionals and strengthen its pro-life medical community as we face unique challenges and opportunities.

Message colorado@aaplog.org if you are interested in joining this chapter. You will receive regular communication from leadership, as the group prepares to provide accurate scientific information to defend life against Initiative 89, Coloradoā€™s possible pro-abortion ballot initiative. As the chapter develops and organizes, and until the November election, it will be communicating regularly via:

  • A 30 minute virtual meeting every other week. These will include 3 sections: a brief update from leadership, succinct education or preparation topic, and member sharing and questions.Ā
  • An email every other alternate week to update members and solicit ideas and feedback.Ā

If you are interested in helping to form an AAPLOG chapter in your own state, please donā€™t hesitate to reach out to info@aaplog.org. In this post-Roe environment, itā€™s more crucial than ever to have a strong state-level presence as medical professionals advocating for life. With radically pro-abortion ballot measures cropping up in states all over the country, now is the time to build your stateā€™s community of pro-life medical professionals so that you can ensure no one feels alone as they practice life-affirming medicine. Further info about state-level ballot initiatives can be found in the next story. We look forward to hearing from you.
