Our 2025 Expert Witness Training sessions have been scheduled! During these day-long in-person events, national legal and media experts equip you as a medical professional to offer your expertise in defense of your pregnant and preborn patients in the public square – the media, your state houses and in the courts. These events have empowered our members to be featured in the news, publish op-eds, and more. Additionally, given the litigious nature of medicine these days, these trainings will help prepare you if you ever face a medical malpractice case in your career – yet another benefit we provide to our members.
New this year! There will be a two-hour virtual legislative training session on Saturday, January 18. This training session, provided by AAPLOG Action, will offer invaluable insight into advocating for the life-affirming policies you want to see passed. This will include tips about lobbying your elected officials, how to get the most out of meetings with them, and how to testify in legislative hearings, with some time for practice at the end.
Our day-long full training events for 2025 will be:
- Thursday, February 27 – Orlando, Florida (an MBEC pre-conference activity – no post-training networking dinner)
- Friday, April 25 – Arlington, Virginia
- June (exact date TBD) – Nashville, Tennessee
- Tuesday, September 2 – Kansas City, Missouri (before the Catholic Medical Association national conference)
Be sure to register today if you are interested in taking your pro-life advocacy to the next level. There will be a small amount of homework to complete prior to the training but we will reward that with a free networking dinner after the training! We were extremely proud of our members’ advocacy efforts in 2024; we hope these events will help empower you to be a voice for your patients and our profession in 2025!
