MBEC Registration is Now Open

Have you heard? Registration for MBEC 2024 is now open!

Next year’s annual Matthew Bulfin Educational Conference (MBEC) will be held in Frisco, Texas (near Dallas) from February 23-25 (with pre-conference activities on Feb. 22nd). MBEC brings together pro-life physicians, midwives, medical students and residents, mental health professionals and other medical professionals, researchers and policy makers for educational seminars covering the most important and up to date topics related to life and family issues. Featuring nationally renowned speakers with experience and expertise in addressing the most difficult questions facing pro-life, pro-family medical professionals, this conference will equip you to tackle the difficult questions with patients, colleagues and in the public square and review the latest research in these areas. You will also have the opportunity to network with fellow pro-life medical professionals and students, and to connect with a wide variety of nonprofit organizations that can support your practice in diverse ways.

Some of the presentation topics planned for this conference include:

  • Fetal Medicine and Fetal Surgery: An Update by Cara Buskmiller, MD
  • Abortion Pill Reversal (APR): An Update on Current Research by Stephen Sammut MD
  • Pregnancy After Sexual Trauma: Is Abortion the Answer? By Robin Atkins, BA, BS, MA, LMHC, CIMHP
  • Addressing the Maternal Mortality Crisis in Minority Women by Monique Wubbenhorst MD, MPH
  • Supporting Families Through Adverse Prenatal Diagnosis with an Innovative Approach by Gary Thome

You can register for this conference here. A 15% discount for dues-paying members is available (code has been emailed).  For all others, an early-bird discount is available until October 2. Additionally, medical students and residents can apply for the Joe DeCook Scholarship, a full scholarship that will cover conference registration, hotel fees, and travel expenses up to $500.

We are hoping to sponsor 70 medical trainees’ MBEC attendance through this scholarship, but we need your help funding this program. Thank you to those who have already contributed!  If you are interested in contributing to the Joe DeCook scholarship program, go to this page and select the “support student scholarships for MBEC” box.
