Dear Pre-Med and Medical Students, Welcome to the American Association of Prolife OB/GYN web site. We’re glad you’re here! It’s important for aspiring prolife doctors to know you are not alone. We want to be available to help you navigate some of the difficult situations you will face. Nearly all of us at AAPLOG have from time to time experienced episodes of discrimination or harassment because of our prolife stance. You may face the same, and we can help support you and connect you to expert legal advice for your situation. Please know you are not alone! We are here to help however we can and support you through medical education. As a start for your prolife medical education, browse our website. You might want to specifically search our “Abortion Complications” section, and search “Rights of Conscience”, both of which will be important to you in order to give an evidence-based answer for challenges to your pro-life stance. The good news for you is that elective abortion has some serious detrimental consequences for some women, and increases their risk of preterm birth, adverse mental health outcomes and in some cases, breast cancer. You have the evidence base on your side. AAPLOG is a member-run organization and we exist to provide evidence from the peer-reviewed medical literature about the effects of abortion on women, and to defend the rights of medical professionals to practice according to the Hippocratic Oath. So, join us as a student member. Go to members.aaplog.org and sign up. Student members have reduced dues. Also, if the dues are a problem for you, just write us at communications.aaplog.org and let us know. We can waive the dues for you if you let us know. We welcome you!! Any questions? Dear Pre-Med and Medical Students,
Welcome to the American Association of Prolife OB/GYN web site. We’re glad you’re here!
It’s important for aspiring prolife doctors to know you are not alone. Nearly all of us at AAPLOG have had episodes of discrimination or harassment throughout our medical careers because of our prolife stance. You will be no exception.
Here at AAPLOG, we stand for the weak, disabled, and especially the unborn who are now discarded by abortion, a sacrosanct operation to those who do not value life. And, I’m sure you know by now, those who do not value life constitute a large majority of your professors and teachers.
Please know you are not alone! We are here to help however we can and support you through medical education. As a start for your prolife medical education, browse our website. Don’t miss “Abortion Complications.” You will not get this material in medical school! Read the “Right of Conscience” section—we must have conscience rights! “American Issues” and “International Issues” will keep you up on medical prolife current events—as will “Letters to Members.” Send us your email address to get on our queue. Click on ‘Get Involved” and become a student (associate) member—no dues required. We welcome you!! And lastly, read the info at “Hippocratic Registry,” and join us as those committed to Hippocratic medicine.
Any questions? Write us at prolifeob@aol.com
